Event: YOUR SHOT 2023 DJ COMPETITION

50,000 attendees at DJ competition and showcase events around Australia each year.

Aspiring DJs – with no DJ experience at all – have the opportunity to learn the skills over a series of months, perform in front of thousands, and fly over to DJ at the world’s biggest music festivals.

Your Shot has trained over 8,500 Australians, receives more registrations than Australian Idol and XFactor combined and has launched some of Australia’s most exciting DJ talent.

Over six weeks 250 contestants in each state are trained in preparation for their first and most important set of their lives to date.

Dates: Selection dates – April to June

Showcase events

Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Auckland

• Queensland events – 8 & 9 July
• WA events- 22 & 23 July
• Vic events – 5 & 6 August
• NSW event 1 – 19 & 20 August
• NSW event 2 – 2 & 3 September
• Wild Card event – 16 & 17 September
• Auckland event – 14 October

Estimated Audience: 2,000 contestants, 50,000 attendees to live competition events
